When posting it will be in story mode.
ex:
Flora smiled softly as she smelled the flower. "How wonderful." She plucked the flower from the ground and stuck it behind her ear.
~~~~
Bold what your character says with the code [b.] [/b.] or the B tag button to distinguish what is said and what is being done.
Example:
"What a pretty day." she said looking at the big blue sky.
~~~
If you use your Alice, it needs to be underlined. Use the U tag button or [u.] [/u.] (w/out the periods)
She turned and with a blink of an eye set the room on fire.
~~~
If you want to change locations but plan on continuing the story then, use the colons :: :: to illustrate that.
When she had finished, she went to ::her dorm room::
and then the conversation will continue in her dorm room.
If you want to leave and end it, just don't use the colons and exit.
Note: if you do this you really have to go to The Dorm rooms board, or where ever it is. Don't say your going there and still be in that thread.
~~~
If a character has a thought italicize it with the I button or [i.] [/i.]
ex:
He stared at the man talking in front of him What a loser.
Note that is doesn't have " " around it, because he isn't speaking, he is thinking.
~~~
when out of character use (( )) to show that, you can also use [ ], or { }
~~~
when typing do not use all cap-locks, when typing in cap-locks it will be taken as yelling so don't do it all the time, unless your character is hard of hearing.
~~~
you also need your own text color. Don't worry the color you chose can be use by more then one person, but lets not have 30 people all writing in blue or all in green or red. OK? once you have one don't change it! it just looks better and makes it easier to see who spoke and to read so pick one and stick with it.
ex:
"Hi my name is bob" he waved.
"Hi, bob, I'm Tina." she waved back.
~~~
i think thats about it, OK, back to work for me...
((note: some of the rules listed are from other sites i am apart of and i thought they were really good, i don't take credit for creating all the rules on this site))
